NBIS provides meaningful ways for businesses and organizations to participate in regional goals and initiatives while enhancing their performance and their community relationships:

SAVING PUGET SOUND
NBIS and Salmon-Safe are helping urban landowners participate in efforts to reduce stormwater and landscape management impacts that are harming Puget Sound and our urban watersheds. NBIS/Salmon-Safe Urban Landowner Initiative has completed a number of Salmon-Safe certifications and is expanding its partnerships with developers and urban landowners. See the Daily Journal of Commerce article  for more information.
