Project Leader Biographies: Professionals International

Ruth Brink is acertified pediatric nurse practioner with a Ph.D. in international education and a masters in public health. A former director of a graduate program for pediatric nurse practioners, she practices in a hospital outpatient clinic in the U.S. Ruth has extensive international experience.

Tom P. Abeles has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry. A former tenured professor in environmental sciences and liberal studies, he consults internationally in areas of renewable energy and sustainability as well as e-learning. His international experiences range from SE Asia to Central and South America. As a consulting futurist/planner he has provided services to corporations, national and local governments, and non-profits.
