Project Leader Biographies: Open Mind

Rose Shuman is the founder of Open Mind.  She has a decade of experience and a Master's in international development from Brown University.  Rose has worked with California's largest international medical aid organization, Direct Relief International, as corporate liaision, and served as Senior Program Officer and Head of Marketing for a nonprofit and commerical outfit respectively whose aim is to correct the vision of people in the developing world using a new technology. 

Open Mind (India) founder Dr. Nikhil Agarwal is a policy specialist in Information Technology, Internet Governance, Education and Electronic Governance.  He holds a Master's from from The Cambridge-MIT Institute in Cambridge, UK, and a Doctorate from the Institute of Management Technology in India. Currently, Nikhil is Director of the Zensar Center for Business Innovation, an autonomous research & innovation center in Pune.  Nikhil is also a consultant on ICT to the United Nations, as well as editor of the Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce and a Member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum.
