Project Leader Biographies: Botswana Orphan Project

Debra and Bob Hicks first went to Botswana as Peace Corps volunteers in 2004. While volunteering with AIDS programs they collaborated with village church members to expand services for orphans. This led to their establishment of Botswana Orphan Program which they continue to lead. They have returned to Botswana to visit the center - Rennestwe Orphan Center - and work closely with the village volunteer board to manage and develop the center's services.
