Martine D'Haeseleer
FIRST PART OF MY LIFE:
Since 1974: dealer in antique and modern Belgian, European, English and American silver.
Since 1992: Expert and appraiser, consultant and teacher in antique and modern Belgian and European silverware for insurance companies and estate sales.
Specialization: Antique and modern silverware from Belgium, the Low Countries, England and Europe.
Since 2001: launching of a website dedicated to the promotion of Antique and modern Belgian and European silverware. http://www.silverbel.org
My passion is to discover new expressions of silversmiths in different countries.
SECOND PART OF MY LIFE:
2002: I came to live in Tenerife
After a travel in the Middle West and the canyons of America, connecting Amerindian philosophies and a burnt out experience, I took conscience that I had to change drastically. I travelled to Tenerife for a holiday trip just at the moment of the 11th of September 2001 (which was a sign to me) and decided to take the step and start here a new life. The change is more than the change of country; the change is to modify ones attitudes, i.e. To love and respect oneself and the others.
I decided to develop my feminine part and develop my new profession as a therapist working with energy healing, as a painter and art therapist (creative, intuitive painting). Reconnecting here with my love for horses, I propose now in Tenerife:
Peaceful and intuitive communication with horses to find ones self confidence.
Energy healing and peaceful re-education for horses and dogs.
2005: Creation of my second website dedicated to my feminine part: http://www.martine-d.net shall be active in a few days.
What silver concerns: I dedicate myself to writing articles on Belgian silver published in a Canadian silver journal or American magazines such as Modern Silver Magazine. I am looking for a way to publish my lectures or to sell those per internet. I still work as a consultant and intermediary for a few clients who want to change their life and sell their collections. So I am helping them to make the dolphins jump.
