A W.I.S.H. launches its first full program with the Green Building Program, co-directed by two A W.I.S.H. board members based in the U.S. and Mexico. To date the organization has shaped and supported numerous projects and affiliations and a few initiatives, e.g. People for Salmon, REACH, IASBO, but this exciting sustainability Program creates its own A W.I.S.H. mini-umbrella for anything related to green building. A number of timely initial projects present strategic opportunities for this new program, riding some momentum established with the World Green Building Council. Chris Allen and Jorge Kanahuati, both A W.I.S.H. board members, co-direct the Green Building Program. These two gentlemen bring a longtime professional relationship, along with sophisticated tools for professional presentations and communication, and a track record of success. Initial results of the Green Building Program will very likely shape exciting initiatives in Latin America . . .where Jorge is well placed and has already been establishing a track record. A W.I.S.H.
